The color within the petals is dispersed in soft, uneven “blotches” and feathered gradients characteristic of Wet-on-Wet Watercolor techniques. This provides a tactile, “paper-grain” surface quality where the pigment appears to float on the surface.

Within each flower, the color is dispersed in varying weights—from the high-density saturated “puddles” at the petal bases to the almost transparent, vaporous tips—creating a sense of physical material movement and 3D relief.
