Description
-
Visual Dispersion (Impasto): The burgundy background shows “Physical Dispersion.” The paint hasn’t just stained the surface; it has been physically pushed around, creating thick ridges and valleys. Light hits these ridges, creating specular highlights that give the print a 3D effect.
-
Decay Dispersion (The Leaf): The large central leaf exhibits “Erosive Dispersion.” The gold leaf applied to it is flaking off, dispersing into irregular patches that reveal the blue/grey leaf surface underneath. This mimics the natural process of aging and weathering.
-
Drip Dispersion: Look at the small red drop running down from the branch. This is “Gravity Dispersion,” adding a moment of fluid movement to an otherwise solid, heavy composition.
