Description
-
Visual Dispersion (The Feather Effect): This is the literal definition of “feathering” in design. The edges of the white shapes are not solid lines. They are highly dispersed into hundreds of tiny, individual strands or barbs. This mimics the way ink “feathers” or spreads into paper fibers, but here it is a deliberate artistic choice to create a soft, furry texture.
-
Internal Dispersion (Soft Shade): Inside the white leaves, the grey shading is soft and diffused (dispersed), looking like smudged charcoal or graphite. This adds volume without hard shadows.
-
Zero Dispersion (The Gold): The gold central lines act as the anchor. They have Zero Dispersion—they are sharp, thin, and precise. They prevent the “fuzzy” feathers from looking messy by providing a strong, rigid structure.
