Description
-
Visual Dispersion (Mechanical): The design exhibits “Capillary Fiber-Bleeding Dispersion.” The pigments are dispersed along the fibers of the fabric, characteristic of Liquid-Reactive Dyeing. This provides a tactile “bleeding” surface quality where the color moves from high-saturation nodes into the surrounding threads, creating soft, feathery edges within the blue and gray bands.
-
Pigment Dispersion (Zonal): The design features “Pleat-Restricted Graduation.” Dispersion is physically blocked by the pressure of the bindings. This creates a rhythmic “on/off” dispersion pattern—moving from solid color bands to sharp, white voids—mimicking the natural way liquid is forced around a physical barrier.
-
Edge Dispersion (Fractured-to-Vaporous): The boundaries of the forms feature a “Tectonic Transition.” The compression points create sharp, fractured dispersion lines that look like cracks in ice, while the centers of the dyed bands exhibit a vaporous, soft-focus dispersion that blends the blue and gray tones together.
