Textural Charcoal Feathers

Description

• Visual Dispersion (Filament): The barbs of the feathers exhibit “Filament Dispersion.” Instead of solid shapes, the form is defined by hundreds of fine, parallel lines that disperse outwards from the quill. This creates a “vibrating” texture that is airy rather than solid.

• Texture Dispersion (Friction): Like image 128, this shows “Friction Dispersion.” The shading isn’t smooth; it breaks up into grain and noise where the drawing tool “skipped” over the paper texture.

• Depth Dispersion (Ghosting): The lighter, background feathers show “Opacity Dispersion.” Their visual weight is dispersed into the background, appearing as faint echoes or “ghosts” of the sharper foreground feathers.
