Description
-
Visual Dispersion (Frequency): The shading is created by “Frequency Dispersion.” Darker areas (shadows) are created by lines placed closely together, while lighter areas have lines dispersed further apart. The eye mixes these black lines and cream background to perceive grey or brown tones.
-
Texture Dispersion (Topographical): The lines exhibit “Topographical Flow.” They follow the contours of the imagined 3D shape, dispersing visual energy along the curve. This creates a strong illusion of volume and relief (hills and valleys).
-
Edge Dispersion (Clean Cut): The dispersion is “Clean Cut.” There is no bleeding or fading at the edges of the shapes; the linear texture stops abruptly at the boundary line, creating a sharp, graphical separation between elements.
