Description

• Visual Dispersion (Mottled): The primary background and ornamental forms exhibit “Internal Wash Mottling”. The blue and grey pigments are dispersed in soft, uneven clusters that suggest a “wet-on-wet” watercolor technique, providing a tactile, organic surface quality across the entire field.

• Pigment Dispersion (Vaporous): The design features “Atmospheric Tonal Clouding”. The transition between deep indigo and pale glacial blue is dispersed so thinly that it creates a sense of immense soft-focus depth, allowing the white of the “paper” to act as an internal light source.

• Edge Dispersion (Sharp-to-Frayed): The boundaries of the main forms feature “Frayed Fluid Dispersion”. While the calligraphic damask outlines are relatively sharp, the underlying color zones maintain a soft, feathered margin where the pigment has traveled naturally into the textured field grain.
