Description
-
Visual Dispersion (Friction): The main strokes show “Friction Dispersion” (or Dry Brush). As the brush runs out of paint or moves quickly over the canvas texture, the pigment breaks up, leaving “skid marks” or rough edges. This disperses the color based on the physical texture of the substrate.
-
Secondary Dispersion (Splatter): The black dots are examples of “Kinetic Splatter.” Paint was flung or dripped onto the canvas, creating perfect, high-contrast circles that disperse randomly over the linear strokes, adding a second layer of rhythm.
-
Mixing Dispersion (Physical): Where the pink and grey strokes overlap, you see “Opaque Mixing.” The wet paints have physically smeared together, creating a marbled effect within the stroke itself.
