Description
-
Visual Dispersion (Offset): This uses “Misaligned Dispersion.” The color blocks (the teal leaves and yellow flowers) are dispersed slightly away from their bounding lines. This isn’t a mistake; it’s a stylistic choice that creates energy and vibration. The color feels like it is “floating” over the drawing.
-
Texture Dispersion (Dry Brush): Look at the yellow block on the right. It shows “Dry Dispersion.” The paint ran out of medium as it was applied, causing it to break up (disperse) into a scratchy, rough texture that reveals the paper underneath.
-
Line Dispersion: The pencil lines are fine and varied. They fade in and out (Linear Dispersion), sometimes disappearing entirely, which lets the eye “fill in the blanks.”
