Visual Dispersion (Shadows): The sense of 3D space is created by shadow dispersion. The dark shadows “disperse” or fade softly from the edge of the overlapping shape onto the shape underneath. This gradient is what tricks the brain into seeing layers. If the shadows were solid black lines (Zero Dispersion), it would look like a cartoon outline.

Surface Dispersion (Texture): Look closely at the colored areas (especially the pink and copper ones). They are not flat, plastic colors. They have a “Mottled” or “Stone-washed” dispersion. The pigment is uneven, looking like handmade paper, concrete, or worn leather. This adds tactile richness to the digital geometry.
