Description
-
Visual Dispersion (The Glow): Unlike the “grainy” or “bleeding” images we analyzed earlier, this image features perfectly smooth dispersion. The color disperses from a deep, saturated purple at the base of the leaf to a pale, almost white peach at the tip without any visible “steps” or bands. This creates the illusion of a curved, 3D surface.
-
Technical Dispersion (Gamut): To print this, you are relying on the dispersion of light across the fabric.
-
The Challenge: If the printer has “Low Dispersion” capabilities (low resolution), these smooth gradients will look like stripes (banding).
-
The Goal: You need the ink dots to disperse and blend so perfectly that the human eye cannot see where one color ends and the next begins. This is the hallmark of high-quality Digital Direct-to-Fabric printing.
