This creates a “blooming” dispersion where the petal edges of the crimson blooms subtly bleed into the indigo background, providing a soft, vaporous glow that unifies the foreground wildflowers with the deep, atmospheric ground.

• Pigment Dispersion (Zonal): The design utilizes “High-Velocity Zonal Saturation.”

  • The Vertical Spires: Utilize a “viscous-to-stippled” dispersion—thick, opaque pigment at the base of the petals that tapers into delicate, light-reflecting stippled highlights at the tips.

  • The Background Wash: Utilizes a “mottled” dispersion, where the indigo ground is applied with varying water-ratios to create a sense of subterranean depth and movement behind the flowers.
